36 students of 4th grade both Tourism and Social Sciences Upper Secondary School had left for the Scottish pearl with a clear aim: exploring the highlights of its cultural and industrial capitals. Language learning goes far beyond workbooks and conjugations and becomes rather mental attitude than learning grammar rules by heart. Breathing in the fascinating atmosphere of sparkling Edinburgh, admiring Glaswegian murals and spending some amazing moments close to Dolly, the sheep, the first animal clone worldwide. This and much much more was part of a haggis and ale seven day trip which all our 36 students will still keep in their mind when opening the student's book on page 66....
