On December 18th, 20 pupils from Stifter Middle School visited our school for a special event, joining some students from SV 4A and SV 4B classes in the main hall. Our students had the opportunity to present and read excerpts from several books in English, sharing their passion for reading with the younger students. Our students were enthusiastic and engaged the Stifter visitors in an interactive session. Not only did they present the books, but they also posed interesting questions, encouraging active participation in an inclusive atmosphere. Although there was a brief moment of shyness at the beginning, the Stifter students soon felt comfortable sharing their thoughts and impressions of the books and the event.
In addition to the presentations, students from our T3 class created during the project week in October personalized bookmarks, which were given as gifts to the Stifter Middle School students. This thoughtful gesture added an extra touch to the exchange, making the event even more memorable.
The Stifter Middle School students also brought presents and tokens for our students, including heartfelt thank-you letters that were greatly appreciated. The exchange of gifts and letters further strengthened the bond between the students, sharing a spirit of kindness and appreciation.
This meeting highlighted the importance and value of such exchanges. It’s rewarding to see how these positive practices have developed into meaningful traditions.
Ad maioram!
