In the weeks leading up to the event, students chose an English book to read at home. They later presented their books in class, explaining the plot, the characters, the themes and the main message. The final step was meeting the other class to exchange their impressions and discover new stories through their peers’ presentations. The atmosphere during the event was lively and inspiring. Students appreciated the opportunity to meet classmates from another class and discuss the stories that had captured their imagination.
Many described the project as “nice”, “well prepared,” "interesting" and “useful” especially because it encouraged them to interact, speak in English, and listen to different points of view. “Book Live” proved to be an enriching experience that not only strengthened students’ language skills but also brought them closer through a shared passion for reading.
