Improving English Skills: Teachers' weekly conversation class

On Monday evenings, motivated teachers and lively discussions fill our school's multimedia room. That's the scene of the English conversation class for teachers, led by Lisa Pötschko. It's a place where teachers gather to improve their English speaking skills in a relaxed atmosphere.

Teachers from all subject areas come together for these sessions. Despite their different backgrounds, they share a common goal: to become more confident and fluent in English. Through a variety of activities and discussions, they practice presenting their school, discussing current events and sharing teaching experiences.
The focus is on speaking and expanding their vocabulary. But it's not just about improving language skills. The sessions are also an opportunity for teachers to network with colleagues from other subjects and to build a sense of community within the school.
It's worth mentioning the importance of the PNRR (Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza) programme, initiated by the Italian government, in funding this course. Through the PNRR, our school has been able to invest in new development opportunities such as the English Conversation Class for Teachers.
